Hi! We're Becky & Frank!
Separately we’re known as Becky Dreistadt and Frank Gibson, but we’ve been making comics and cartoons together for over 10 years. Becky draws and Frank writes!
Our work together includes the Capture Creatures Encyclopedia, Capture Creatures Vol. 1, the hand-painted comic Tiny Kitten Teeth, the retro kids book Tigerbuttah and Bustletown.
In addition to her comics and paintings, Becky is known for being a character designer in animation. She was Lead Character Designer on Adventure Time: Distant Lands, The Big City Greens Movie, Steven Universe: The Movie & Steven Universe: Future. She is also known for working on LEGO Movie 2 and character designing on Star vs The Forces of Evil.
Frank is known for writing on Season 1 of Bee & Puppycat, as well as DreamWorks' The Mighty Ones. As a member of TAIKO Studios, he wrote LEGO Ninjago Legacy: Gold Rush and was a writer on the award winning short, Pangu. He's developed animation for Cartoon Network, Disney, Universal and DreamWorks.
